The Time Has Come to Elect a Loyal & Trustworthy Pet for President of Frederick County
The time has come for all good people (and pets!) to come to the aid of Frederick County! That’s right! Maryland Charter has approved a special election for a President of Frederick County**. However, election rules state that all candidates must be loyal, trustworthy, & above all, there for us in good times & bad! Since no human can fit these requirements, we must look to our only source, our trusted dogs, cats, birds, jack-asses, etc. to lead us during our troubled times! (** just kidding)
This is a fun fundraising event to benefit The Frederick County Humane Society and The American Red Cross, Frederick County Chapter.
Register your pet for $15 by clicking on PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION from the menu on the left hand side of this page. Then begin collecting votes at $1.00 per vote and attend the grand election party on October 16, 2010! One pet will be voted-in as the President of Frederick County and will serve a one-year term, fulfilling all of the outrageous responsibilities of the office!
This is a great way to have fun, showcase your pet, and support two great organizations!
